forecasting.

the sky cracked and spilled more children from
the places where unborn lightening lived
they came down to us nose to eye and
as they lifted their shirts to false eyes

it liquified our organs,
and turned them to mineral water

each crooked mouth
of the next unnamed generation
begged to know the answer
to the same question

a mouth speaks into the radio and tells us
wait and sit on your hands
until your shadows become confusing
while the four false suns are setting

shadow lead them all the way down
the wrong side of the fork
to the wrong side of the morning.

you will find my house there
in the wrong side of night
as the sky cradles and booms life

I feel nothing. clouds disperse
and insides appear, again.
I feel nothing. As the little one bites my hand
I feel nothing.

asked for it

Skivvy

One

When it is cold, like real cold,
I turn my body into itself––inside itself. A hunchback.
My shell is a real case of living and breathing.
Compensate by disappearing.

Two

It makes my whole body itch
then crack. Gold Bond won't keep me sealed.
Doc says it's all about hydration But I know better-
my soul's trying to leave me behind.
Escape through dying skin, my winter.

Three

I've said it before, and I'll say it again
"This time is the last time, and the last time wont be like this time."
And I mean it, have meant it.
Stay here as long as I say.

Four

People at work looked at me
with eyebrows raised to the ceiling
when I came into the office
covered in tin foil.
I will wrap
my dying hands
once more.

PS.

i love love love i love love love i am loving it all. over and over and over.

i am ALWAYS having fun.

I have realized that the density of
color is not what makes my head
feel dizzy it's about the tinge
of being true. I will get so close to
the good scent that I will retreat with
fractions of pollen blanketing my nose.
when the music slides through
my ears tinge red, blood flow
directing towards the piece of me that
can hear the good kind of noises.
At dusk we will drive around the perimeter
hands feeling the tinge of friction; the wind we
cannot see, and we will learn how to drive
further and further into it.

nar⋅cis⋅sism:

Let's take a moment to appreciate the not-so-subtle-pout that Mr. Courtney Taylor loves to exploit.

I wish I had been nineteen in '95. It may be true that a majority of events may seem fucking golden in retrospect but the 90's are exempt from that entirely. The 90's were perfect.
(One of my screen printing work shop instructors reminisced with me over her partying with rancid in high school.)

Also: I found Anton Newcombe of the Brain Jonestown Massacre's legit myspace today. I hate the internet, kind of.

What do you know about the Brian Jonestown Massacre and the Dandy Warhols? I watched their show-down on their documentary 'Dig!' the other night. It's pretty long, and fairly intense, but totally worth it. Catch it on HULU, YO.

SPUHH RING

sync

I was looking for a book to re-activate my brain after this long 2 week Spring Break hiatus.  I pulled 'The Snow Leopard" off of the shelf and a picture of me as a blissful naked toddler fell to the floor. Clearly I have to read this book. First few chapters down and I already have come to the realization that I may have to go on my own spirit quest through Nepal. Or like, go on a hike at least.
